DAY TWO: MORNING (I) – James
James: Good morning Magnes! [MAGNES JACK: Good morning, James!] Magnes, last night, we were all talking about the day over dinner, and one of the things that struck me, again and again, is how challenging fun is to many notions I have of how I should be, or approach change and so on.
I feel that I must be serious about it, and as you say, it soon gets heavy and then I start judging myself, and then I’m back at square one, but having fun seems to involve a total flip of that approach.
To actually see life as something to enjoy, and that we are allowed to enjoy – not be perfect or right or cleverer than anyone else – just to enjoy and grow and learn.
I know it sounds simple to me even saying it, but it’ll probably be a lifetime learning how to put this into practice.
MAGNES JACK: Well, James. You certainly got a lot from yesterday, which is great. You are right in that it is the journey of a lifetime, everyday, every moment, brings something new to savour.
Thank you James.
James: [Nods]
MAGNES JACK: Ok, who would like to talk about their dreams?
